| Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey say "there ain't no cure for the summertime blues" but here at MasterSource we are blues-free as we head into the dog days of summer.
As usual, there's lots of great news to share, so sit back and grab a cold one...

| MasterSource is Happening!!! |
The new M. Night Shyamalan thriller The Happening opened recently and we are very thrilled (pardon the pun) to announce that it features 2 MasterSource compositions: Jealous Heart and Smooth As Silk, both from our most-recently released collection,
Volume 12. This is the 2nd feature film from the acclaimed director which we have had music in, the other being The Sixth Sense. We applaud the filmmaker's distinct style and his fine choice in music! |

| MasterSource at Promax!!! |
Once again, MasterSource invaded the Big Apple and attended the 2008 Promax Conference at the Hilton. Josh Kessler & Abby O'Neill manned the booth and welcomed many familiar faces and met many new ones.

| Face The Music |
After featuring nearly 3 dozen wonderful writers and producers over the past few years, we thought perhaps it was time to feature some of the great music these fabulously-talented musical artists have written for us, so starting with this month's newsletter, we will spotlight some of the great existing and soon-to-be-released titles which make up the catalog. Later this summer, we will be releasing Volume 13, but you, dear MasterSource newsletter readers, have the distinction of hearing these new titles before anyone else! I am particularly excited about a few new genres we have for this year's release: Glam Rock, World Pop and (just in time for the Olympics) Sports Themes.

| Glam Rock: |
Pull out those platform boots, steal your sister’s make-up kit and stretch that spandex jumpsuit till it busts. It’s 1973 all over again as these amazing tracks transport you back to the time when Bowie, Bolan, Mott The Hoople, Slade and the Sweet ruled the airwaves. |
| World Pop: |
With the price of airline tickets costing as much as a mortgage payment, there's no reason to leave the comfort of your own computer monitor. Take a "sonic vacation" instead and let the world come to you with this eclectic collection of Pop songs from Russia, Europe, India and Asia. Sung in the "native tongue" of each region, this CD has something for everyone! |
| Sports Themes: |
Not for the couch potato crowd, this CD is guaranteed to inspire the champion spirit in you. Dynamic, energetic, momentous, and motivational, these tracks are perfect audio compliments for weekend warriors and Olympic winners alike. |
